At Acacia Physiotherapy, we specialize in providing specialized care for lymphoedema and rehabilitation services.

Your Therapist

Annie is a qualified Physiotherapist and Lymphoedema Practitioner, with a passion in helping individuals through their rehabilitation journey.

 

Annie works closely with patients to understand their individual needs and goals to optimise their journey with her. She aims to provide the right tools and knowledge to empower her patients to continue their journey with confidence. Her main areas of interests include Lymphoedema, Parkinson’s Disease and Post-orthopaedic rehabilitation.

Physiotherapy

Our rehabilitation programs are tailored to you and provide an exercise-based approach to help you recover from injuries, surgeries, or medical conditions.

Parkinson's Disease

Regular exercise can effectively slow the progression of symptoms while helping to preserve your balance and mobility.

Post-joint surgery
Exercise is essential in rebuilding strength and condition following surgery - getting you back to life quicker and stronger!​

Lymphoedema

Lymphoedema is a chronic condition where excess fluid accumulates in the body’s fluid and can cause swelling and discomfort. Lymphoedema cannot be cured, however, early detection and management will have a significant impact on its progression and impact.

 

Your management may include:

  • Manual Lymphatic Drainage

  • Compression garment prescription

  • Individualised Exercise program

  • Education on long-term management
     

*Please note that at this stage we only treat upper and lower limb oedema (including breast)

Initial Assessments

Long* (60 minutes)            $150

Standard (45 minutes)       $130

Rebates

Private Health: Rebates will be dependent on your health fund and level of cover. Please contact your Private Health Insurance Provider for a quote.

 

Medicare: You may qualify for a $60.35* rebate through a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan available via your GP.
